Theatre Workshop

Elijah and Sara ran the very first Theatre Workshop with the Blackhawk Boys and Girls Club! This time, they had a mix of High Schoolers and Elementary/early Middle schoolers. Club brought the kids to Rockford University as a field trip so the Winstaer team started with some icebreakers and introduced the kids to the space. Then, they worked on breathing and body alignment before diving into some (modified) improv games that were geared toward building confidence in public speaking - the number one fear. The team also worked with the kids on using body movement to create mental focus in any situation  Unfortunately, Winstaer was unable to get pictures and/or the rights to share
